The role of our Communications group is to plan strategically, manage and sustain Ardent Mills' relationships with key audiences, both internally and externally, while protecting its reputation and helping Ardent Mills to achieve its strategic and operational goals. Conducting communications that align with Ardent Mills' mission, vision and values is vital to exceeding our goals.
The Finance team’s mission is to maximize value creation by providing exceptional financial and business leadership. The IT team strives to provide the highest quality technology-based services, in the most cost-effective manner, to facilitate the Ardent Mills mission as it applies to the Trust, Safety, Simplicity, and Service. The Project Management Organization (PMO) is an organizational entity established to assist project managers throughout the organization in implementing Project Management principles, practices, methodologies, tools and techniques. It also serves as a gate keeper supporting Portfolio Management and Project Prioritization work in partnership with the Ardent Mills Project Board.
RQT provides the expertise and industry leadership that enables Ardent Mills to excel in the areas of innovation, food safety, quality, and regulatory to consistently deliver safe, nutritious grain-based solutions.
The Ardent Mills Risk Management Team works to expand and protect Ardent Mills’ total business margin through effective flour hedging and cross wheat class blending. This mission is only accomplished through effective collaboration across all functions of the business.
The Ardent Mills Sales Team is accountable for creating demand for our products and services with our customers. We do this in many ways including: Building strong relationships with our customers, delivering unique insights and value propositions, and coordinating all appropriate Ardent Mills resources and activities with our customers, assuring sales targets are reached.
The Ardent Mills Supply Chain Team serves the customer and the business by being the key point for orders, shipments, planning and procurement. We work with our teammates in other functions to ensure that Ardent Mills is the trusted partner to our customers and suppliers.

Nourish your future by joining our team. We provide our new hires with a foundation to achieve fulfilling careers through our Leadership Development Programs. The Ardent Mills Leadership Development Program (LDP) will provide a consistent training and development program for newly hired leaders with a variety of backgrounds. The six to eighteen month structured curriculum is designed to give employees an understanding of the Ardent Mills vision and values and build a foundation for future leadership positions within Ardent Mills. Unlike other development programs in which participants do not hold actual responsibility and serve in more of a project management role, the Ardent Mills LDPs will follow a “learning through doing” method of carrying out actual responsibilities while being coached and mentored by their fellow Ardent Mills Operations professionals, all of whom have excelled in the milling and food manufacturing industries for decades.
The Ardent Mills Apprenticeship - Minnesota program is a three year program that combines school time with on the job application for principles learned in school. Foundational mechanical, electrical and social skills are developed at Dunwoody College in Minneapolis, MN and students are encouraged to “Learn, See and Do” through Dunwoody’s hands-on learning approach. Additional courses in flour milling will be taught by industry professionals to develop knowledge and understanding of flour milling in each student. On the job tasks will include managing operating settings on equipment, performing repairs and routine equipment maintenance, and ensuring product is within customer specifications in a rotating shift position at one of Ardent Mills’ four flour milling production facilities in Minnesota. Throughout the apprenticeship program, Ardent Mills pays the employee’s salary as well as all schooling fees, contingent upon successful completion and employment commitment. Upon successful completion of the program, the candidate will be placed in a full-time shift milling position at one of the Ardent Mills plant locations.
