DUTIES: This position is responsible for Workday system maintenance, optimization, configuration, testing and analysis. This role partners with internal and external business stakeholders to increase business efficiencies and to automate business processes through the Workday platform. This role leverages Workday to deliver solutions that enable the business to accomplish goals related to the strategy at Ardent Mills. This role serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the assigned support areas and ensures that Workday serves the needs for all users. Specific duties include: (1) responsible for configuration and maintenance of the Workday system including business processes, reports, data loads, integrations, eligibility rules, calculated fields and security; (2) identify and track opportunities for process and operational improvements, advise stakeholders on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems; (3) analyze and recommend enhancements to business processes and other aspects of system configuration to streamline HR operations and optimize efficiency while ensuring data integrity; (4) lead HRIS and Workday projects and enhancements, taking full ownership of managing the work, deadlines and resources to ensure successful completion; (5) collaborate within Workday Community and area user groups to research and resolve issues and to proactively remain informed about Workday changes, alerts and enhancements; (6) coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met and system upgrades/releases are implemented smoothly, including tracking and resolving all issues; (7) create and maintain documentation for all processes including end-user training and job aids; (8) provide creative solutions to difficult business problems that are not clearly defined or where limited information is available; (9) build Workday reports, dashboards, and scorecards including proficient use of calculated fields, charts and graphs; (10) responsible for the design of HR reporting, metrics and analytics; (11) create and automate reports and analytics using complex configuration and calculated fields; 12) build XML transformations for integrations and web services; (13) perform Workday HCM implementations and on-going maintenance of HCM business processes and technology; (14) build complex integrations and working with external vendors to ensure all data is secure in transmission (encrypted) and shared according to requirements and technical specifications; (15) develop analytics and automating reports using Workday configuration, business objects, data sources, calculated fields and advanced MS Excel, Word, and Project; and (16) use Workday Inbound and Outbound EIB’s (Enterprise Interface Builders), Report Writer, BIRT, Calculated Fields, Core Connectors, Cloud Connectors, and Workday Studio.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Technology, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 12 months of demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) developing analytics and automating reports using Workday configuration, business objects, data sources, calculated fields and advanced MS Excel, Word, and Project; (2) building XML transformations for integrations and web services; (3) performing Workday HCM implementation and on-going maintenance of HCM business processes and technology; (4) using Workday Inbound and Outbound EIB’s (Enterprise Interface Builders), Report Writer, BIRT, Calculated Fields, Core Connectors, Cloud Connectors, and Workday Studio; and (5) building complex integrations and working with external vendors to ensure all data is secure in transmission (encrypted) and shared according to requirements and technical specifications.
