The Organizational Change Manager is an advanced individual contributor who independently manages moderately complex change initiatives with significant organizational impact. The role partners with project and business leaders to plan and execute change management activities within established frameworks, influencing adoption across functions through stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and reinforcement strategies. This position ensures consistency and quality of change execution while strengthening organizational change capability.
- Partner with project leads and business sponsors to plan and execute change management activities that enable the successful implementation of enterprise initiatives.
- Design and deliver comprehensive change management plans aligned with established organizational goals and methodologies.
- Partner with business leaders and project sponsors to assess the people-side impact of changes to processes, systems, structures, and culture, and develop tailored plans to facilitate adoption.
- Coordinate and manage change-related timelines, workstreams, and deliverables to ensure cohesive execution across projects.
- Facilitate the creation of end-user communication materials, training content, and change-related collateral to support consistent messaging and knowledge transfer.
- Advise internal stakeholders on change leadership best practices, providing tools and guidance to build internal change capability across the business.
- Build and maintain effective change networks to support knowledge sharing, feedback loops, and local engagement during change implementation.
- Ensure change management approaches align with organizational methodology and leverage internal frameworks for consistency and scalability.
- Monitor and measure change adoption, engagement, and effectiveness through qualitative and quantitative data to refine change strategies and report on progress.
- Partner with internal and external resources, including vendors, to ensure change management activities are cohesive, engaging, and reinforce the desired behaviors and capabilities.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- BA Degree in Instructional Design, Communication, Education, Business, Organizational Development or related field or 10 + years of equivalent experience
- 5 or more years’ experience in a change management or learning development role
- Working knowledge of adult learning theory and practice, facilitation and training techniques and ability to apply instructional design methods
- Use of and familiarity with Change Management methodologies including but not limited to, ADKAR and ADDIE models
- Demonstrated competence in Facilitation
- Strong understanding and expertise in content writing
- Ability to visually design concepts and ideas into end user material
- Proven experience in driving learning solution design through all phases from concept, presentation, design, development, facilitation, evaluation, refinement, and implementation
- Ability to create, articulate, and present highly creative pitches to a variety of stakeholders
- High aptitude to learn new technology
Good to have:
- Strong Project Management experience, and practical approach to coordinating projects
- Experience with the implementation of HR programs and systems
- Experience with Project Management systems
- Experienced in engaging with senior business leaders
- Team-first professional with excellent leadership, influencing and prioritization capabilities
- Experience with Collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online

- Ardent Mills is headquartered in Denver, CO. This role can be hybrid in the following locations: Colorado, Omaha and Minnesota with a strong preference for Denver, CO. The successful candidate will be expected to be in-office at least 2 days/week (Tuesday/Wednesday) when not traveling.

Competitive Compensation:
We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experiences. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $100,000.00 - $120,000.00, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, we believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved. While the specific bonus plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions, the targeted bonus plan and targeted percentage amount for this role is Bonus - MIP, 10% Annual.
