Elevator Operator - 3rd shift - First Year $5,000 Sign On Bonus
Responsibilities
- Ensure all trucks and railcars are unloaded in a safe and timely manner.
- Will have interaction/communication with truck drivers.
- Operator will obtain probe samples on all unloads.
- Operator will run required testing on all probe samples and document results.
- Transferring grain, opens and closes multiple storage bins to obtain proper percentages of various blends types/blends of grains.
- Will be required to take bin measurements.
- Will review and verify all pertinent documentation for specific areas ex..( Wheat unloading Tickets, Transfer Tickets, Scale documentation, etc..) If there are any discrepancies employee will report to supervisor or department lead.
- Performs all Sanitation needs for work area ex..( cleaning up spills, keeping the dust build-up to a minimum..etc).
- Works with co-workers to complete sanitation needs in other areas when needed.
- Will complete all required documentation for their specific areas.
- Will perform basic preventative maintenance and lubrication for equipment in their areas.
- Wear required PPE.
- Work periodically in elevated heights. Wear full body harness as needed.
- Any other sanitation or cleaning task assigned to complete to maintain our Environmental, Health, Safety and Food Safety Standards.
- Must possess and utilize effective communication and personal interaction skills with all external and inter-departmental plant personnel associated to ensure maximum operational efficiency
- Must demonstrate through personal results a commitment to high production standards and be a team player.
- Ability to handle pressure and stress.
- Must be ethical in all decision making.
- Must be able to comprehend and follow written/verbal instructions.
- Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors
- Will adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Other job tasks / functions as assigned by management

- Strong reading comprehension, writing, math and communication skills. 2. Strong work planning and decision-making skills.
- Analytical skills to recognize and assess problems.
- Interpersonal skills – communication and team skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and schedules.
- Ability to wear required PPE.
- Communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
- Basic computer skills (for data entry and process control).
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts and able to work additional hours which may include overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be willing to accept accountability and work well in a team atmosphere.
Overall Working Conditions:
- Main duties are performed inside the plant but outside working may occur
- The worker is required to wear a dust mask when working in an area with airborne dust
- Extreme heat – Temperatures above 85 degrees for periods of more than 1 hour.
- Noise – Sufficient to cause the worker to shout to be heard above surrounding noise level.
- Atmospheric conditions – flour dust – affect respiratory system and skin
Team members must be clean shaven in order to perform tasks where respiratory protection is required and the use of a respirator (including N-95 dust mask) requires a proper seal for adequate protection.

COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION:
We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experiences. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $21.00 - $28.06, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, we believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved. While the specific bonus plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions, the targeted bonus plan and targeted percentage amount for this role is Bonus - OIP, 5% Annual.
