AYER MILL

Built in Massachusetts in 1982, our Ayer facility was the first mill to have the ability to receive 100 rail cars of wheat. They also have the capability to unload 100 rail cars in less than 12 hours. We're really proud that our team won Plant of the Year in 2017.

WHAT AYER MAKES:

Ayer makes many different blends of flour that get used for various finished goods, including bread, buns, rolls, cereal, cookies, crackers and many other tasty snacks. We're able to produce 1.5 million lbs of flour every day.

WHERE DOES AYER GET ITS WHEAT?

The Ayer community mill helps bring top-quality flour to the North Eastern United States. Ayer receives locally and regionally grown hard, soft, red and winter wheat from many geographies, including fields in Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska and the Dakotas.

GIVING BACK

The Ardent Mills Ayer team is active in the community and often partners with local food banks and community development programs.
