Chester makes many different blends of flour that get used for various finished goods, including cakes, pastries, breading and coatings and many other tasty snacks. Our mill has a daily capacity of 1.12 million lbs of flour.
WHERE DOES CHESTER GET ITS WHEAT?
The Chester community mill helps bring top-quality flour to the Midwestern, Southeast and parts of the Southwest, United States. Alton receives locally and regionally grown Soft Red Winter wheat from many geographies, including fields in Missouri and locally in Illinois.
The Ardent Mills Chester team is active in the community and often partners with organizations that team members are involved in, most recently a food program for local kids.
