PORT REDWING MILL

Port Redwing is our newest facility located south of Tampa within the city limits of Gibsonton, Florida. In 2012, the newly established Port of Tampa bought 110 acres to develop. Since then, the Port has been a bustling center of commerce with more to come: a rail line connection to CSX mainline track is planned as well as roadway connections to Interstate 4 and the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway. This makes the Port an ideal location for our newest mill.

WHAT PORT REDWING MAKES:

Port Redwing makes many different blends of flour that get used for various finished goods, including bread, buns, pizza, rolls, muffins, pies, crackers, cookies, cakes and other specialty snacks. Our mill can produce 1.4 million lbs of flour daily.

WHERE DOES PORT REDWING GET ITS WHEAT?

The Port Redwing mill is located right on the water and is able to bring in both shuttle unit trains and ocean vessels of wheat. We grind various types of wheat including spring wheat, hard wheat and soft wheat. Given the various delivery options our wheat can come from many geographies, including fields in Kansas, Minnesota, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas and beyond.

GIVING BACK
