Finance at Ardent Mills is far more than a back-office function. By providing decision-makers with the accurate insights they need, our finance professionals have a vital role to play in helping our business to thrive and grow. Most of the team is based at our Denver HQ, but with team member in other locations, including Wichita, Puerto Rico and Canada.

Who We Look For?

We have more than 70 Finance team members at Ardent Mills. Here are some of the key areas you could potentially join them in:

  • Financial Reporting, Planning and Analysis – handles budgeting and forecasting, performing general accounting duties and month-end analytics, among many other things.
  • Capital – manages the capital analysis and approval process for Ardent Mills and is also responsible for project spend management and asset accounting.
  • Treasury – manages our liquidity and mitigates operational and financial risks.
  • Grain and By-Product Settlements – provides financial support for all grain and by-product related transactions, working closely with customers, vendors, traders and plant personnel.
  • Risk Finance – ensures accurate accounting, forecasting and valuations of grain, flour and feed contacts, working in collaboration with our Sales and Risk teams.
  • Tax – responsible for coordinating tax compliance and facilitating timely payments, maintaining tax disclosure forms and reporting, and minimizing our tax exposure.
  • Corporate Accounting – advises on US GAAP technical accounting issues and maintains accounting policies. Also responsible for preparing and consolidating financial statements for key stakeholders and liaising with auditors.
  • Operations Finance – serves as the financial support for our operations and business functions providing the financial visibility to support better, more strategic business decisions.
  • Accounts Receivable – collaborates cross functionally to mitigate counterparty risk thru the efficient collection and application of cash received from customers.
