HASTINGS MILL

Built in Minnesota in 1853, this was the FIRST operating mill in State as well as the first all-roller mill facility in the U.S. It was originally powered by the Vermillion River. The purifier, patent barrel and graham flour were invented here.

WHERE DOES HASTINGS GET ITS WHEAT?

The Hastings mill helps bring top-quality flour to the Midwestern region. We receive locally and regionally grown winter, spring, durum and rye wheat from fields around the Dakotas and Canada. Wheat is received from rail cars and trucks. The Hastings Mill brings top-quality wheat to the Midwestern region of the United States.
