YORK MILL

Located in Pennsylvania since 1832, our York facility was seized by Confederate Soldiers for a two-day period prior the Battle of Gettysburg. The flour was used to make Hardtack wafers to provide troops as part of their food rations.

WHAT YORK MAKES:

York makes many different blends of flour that get used for various finished goods, including bread, buns, coatings, cookies, snack foods and many other tasty items. We're able to produce 600,000 lbs of flour and 150,000 lbs of millfeed every day.

WHERE DOES YORK GET ITS WHEAT?

The York community mill helps bring top-quality flour to the mid-Atlantic region of the United States. York receives Hard Red Winter and Hard Red Spring Wheat from many geographies, including from fields in Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska and the Dakotas.

GIVING BACK

The Ardent Mills York team is active in the community and often partners with the local food bank.
